I don’t consider myself a expert on really anything, just an explorer. I love to know how stuff works and to try new things. I get great pleasure from cooking, crafting and entertaining. I am sharing my explorations in the world around me with you and hope that you enjoy the ride as much as I do.

I have been known to get a “wild hair” and start doing something beyond my skill level and much to my surprise have had good results in most of these efforts. I strongly feel that cooking is one of those skills that is naturally in our genes and with patience and practice anyone can cook. I might not always be right, or even have any idea what I am doing, but you never learn if you don’t try.
